    We’ll be at our Democratic HQ (112 Wall St, Oxford) and close to the action. We’ll be working to GOTV, sharing information about candidates and amendments, and offering tours of the office. More volunteers are welcome!

    The Granville Democrats will have our booth at the Creedmoor Music Festival again this year. We’ll be encouraging early voting (same-day voter registration), sharing information about Democratic candidates and amendments, selling T-shirts, and hosting local candidates. Come on by and visit!

    The 27th annual Creedmoor Music Festival will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018 from 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM, rain or shine. Fair food aficionados and music lovers converge onto Main Street to enjoy free kids’ activities, terrific food, handcrafted merchandise, and two stages offering all genres of music from top-notch local and regional bands! FREE ADMISSION

May 2018 primary results

UPDATE: Leonard Peace was declared the winner in the June 26 runoff election for Board of Education. Congratulations and thanks to both candidates.


First, thanks to all the Democrats who stepped up to run for office! Your time and efforts are greatly appreciated. Congratulations to the winning Democrats in this week’s primaries:

  • Darryl Moss, candidate for NC House District 2
  • Brindell B. Wilkins (incumbent), candidate for Granville County Sheriff

After a close result, two of our Democratic candidates will compete in a runoff for the Granville County Board of Education, District 4:

  • Leonard Peace (incumbent)
  • Tolokun Omokunde
