We welcome drop-in visitors during office hours. We try to staff the office on these days and times, but please call ahead to avoid disappointment.

Where and when to vote

Note: The 2018 deadline for standard voter registration has passed. But you can still register at one-stop early voting!

One Stop Early Voting

Begins on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 and ends on Saturday, November 3, 2018.

Polls are open from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm Monday – Friday plus one Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 8:00am to 1:00pm.

Locations: Richard H. Thornton Library (Oxford), South Branch Library (Creedmoor), Tar River Elementary (Franklinton)

Reminder: You can register to vote during early voting! Be sure to bring proof of your address, a utility bill or similar.

Election Day

November 6, 2018. Polls open from 6:30am -7:30pm.

On Election Day, you must vote at your polling place. (You can find your precinct and locate your polling place on the NC Board of Elections website.)
