    Just a reminder that we will hold our monthly meeting this Thursday, March 23 @ 6:30 pm via Zoom.  The agenda will include updates on precinct organizing, county convention and nominations for the election of new officers.

May 2018 primary results

UPDATE: Leonard Peace was declared the winner in the June 26 runoff election for Board of Education. Congratulations and thanks to both candidates.


First, thanks to all the Democrats who stepped up to run for office! Your time and efforts are greatly appreciated. Congratulations to the winning Democrats in this week’s primaries:

  • Darryl Moss, candidate for NC House District 2
  • Brindell B. Wilkins (incumbent), candidate for Granville County Sheriff

After a close result, two of our Democratic candidates will compete in a runoff for the Granville County Board of Education, District 4:

  • Leonard Peace (incumbent)
  • Tolokun Omokunde

Special thanks to our other candidates for your energy, courage, and ideas!
