About the Granville County
Democratic Party
We're your neighbors — in Oxford, Creedmoor, Butner, Stem, and Stovall. Here's who we are and what we stand for.
Democrats rooted in Granville County.
The Granville County Democratic Party has been the organizing home for Democrats across Oxford, Creedmoor, Butner, Stem, and Stovall for generations. We're a volunteer-led organization run by people who live here, work here, and care about what happens to this county. Our members include teachers, veterans, farmers, healthcare workers, small business owners, and first-time voters. We don't speak for a national movement — we speak for Granville County.
In recent years, our party has made history: in 2022, we elected the first Black sheriff in Granville County's history. We've expanded our organizing into every precinct, launched the GranvilleBlue mobile app to reach voters in English and Spanish, and built a volunteer network that shows up for every election — from school board to U.S. Senate. 2026 is our biggest year yet, and we're ready.
