How do I vote absentee (by mail)?

North Carolina voters may request an absentee ballot to vote by mail. You can also vote early in-person at any one-stop absentee site during the early voting period.

What if my name isn't on the rolls? (Provisional Voting)

If your name doesn't appear on the rolls or your eligibility is questioned at the polls, you have the right to cast a provisional ballot. Your ballot will be reviewed by the Granville County Board of Elections after Election Day. You have until the canvass period ends (typically 10 days after Election Day) to provide documentation.

Is my polling place accessible?

All Granville County polling places are required to be physically accessible. Curbside voting is available at every location — notify a poll worker and they will bring your ballot to your vehicle. You may also bring a person of your choice to assist you in the voting booth.
